Terms and Conditions
BEDWARDINE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRADING
1. TERMS OF PAYMENT
Payment will be due ONE calendar month from the date of the invoice. A late payment fee maybe charged if the invoice is not paid within the time stipulated. We may ask that any Third Party costs be paid to us within 48 hours of the funeral taking place.
2. PRICE VARIATIONS
If after the date of instruction, the cost of the goods, materials or service supplied is increased, we reserve the right to pass on these increases to the CLIENT in proportion to the effect of the increase made to ourselves.
3. CHARGING OF INTEREST ON OVERDUE ACCOUNTS
We reserve the right to charge interest on any account not paid according to our Terms of Payment. This will be at the rate of 2% per month or part month overdue. Interest will be added to statements and any interest due and unpaid will be left as an outstanding overdue balance.
4. THE RIGHT TO CHARGE COLLECTION COSTS ON OVERDUE ACCOUNTS
We reserve the right to add to any overdue account, the costs incurred by us in collecting the account through any third party, acting on behalf of ourselves.
5. COMPLAINTS REGARDING THE ARRANGEMENTS
Bedwardine Funeral Services Ltd cannot be held responsible for any Mistakes made by any Third Party involvement in the funeral arrangements. For any BELONGINGS of any kind left inside a coffin, especially when the viewing of a loved one is requested in an OPEN Coffin in our Chapel of Rest.
6. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS
Any claim by the CLIENT or his/her Agents for compensation for defective goods, materials or Services shall be limited to the actual cost of those goods or services. No liability will be accepted in any way for consequential loss or damage resulting from those goods, materials or services however caused.
SUBSIDIARY CLAUSES
i) We reserve the right to alter or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Where an alteration is made, a new copy of the Terms and Conditions will be sent which will then become the current Terms and Conditions and becomes legally binding.
ii) Should any clauses contained in these Terms and Conditions be held invalid, such invalidity will not affect the validity of the remaining clauses.
iii) These Terms and Conditions shall be subject to and be construed in accordance with English Law.
We will accept payment by cash, cheque, debit or credit card and internet banking.
